Wordpress SEO Keywords image and ALT tags
Last time we talked about the always visible elements on the page, specifically headings and visible text. If you have done a good job, you have ‘threaded’ your key phrase into the headings, title and content and still have excellent copy. It is important to get high rankings on the search engines, but that won’t count if your page copy is gibberish because its stuffed with your key phrase.

The truth about meta tags
We have dealt with the categories of visible and sometimes visible text. That only leaves text that is not visible to the user. The two categories of entries here are meta tags and html comments. Meta tags are largely historical in context.
They have been so overdone by people practicing SEO on sites, that they are not given that heavy an emphasis by search engines.

It is very important for every website owner to collect information about visitors, their behavior, how they move on the website, which interests the have and how long time they spend on which pages. Web servers collect information and save them in log files.
However, outgoing links on your web site can really hurt your google rankings. Search engines such as Google don’t make you responsible for links found over the web linking to your website but they do make you responsible for links found on your own website. If you link to a banned or dead website, you risk losing ranking ranking position in the search engine results.

When a company undertakes a search engine optimization program, whether it is performed in-house or outsourced to an SEO service, most of the attention (and rightly so) is focused on the company website.
